Hair should be of natural colour. Hair should not be dyed or multi-coloured, or consist of styles that are extreme including shaved patterns or lines.

Eyebrow slits are not permitted. Students will be responsible for filling them in.

False eyelashes are not permitted.

Painted, false, acrylic/gel nails are not permitted.

No jewellery may be worn at school, except for one small stud in the bottom of each ear lobe.

Clear retainers or plasters covering piercings are not permitted.

Henna on nails is not permitted. For celebrations during term time, patterns on the skin which can be completely covered with uniform are permitted.

Shorts or underlayers cannot be worn underneath school trousers. This includes wearing an additional pair of shorts with PE kit or uniform.

A small amount of discreet make-up is permitted, and watches may be worn, however no smart watches are permitted on the school site.

Failure to adhere to the rules above will result in the student being isolated until the infringement is rectified. These decisions lie with any member of staff.

Equipment

All students must have a clear plastic pencil case and as a minimum requirement they will require:

3 black pens
3 green pens
2 black ‘white board’ pens
2 pencils
Ruler
Rubber
Protractor
Compass
Scientific Calculator
It can be helpful to also have a glue stick and a set of highlighters.

Students will have an equipment 'check' each morning as part of their registration routine. If a student is missing an item, we will ask them to borrow this from Student Services, and they will be expected to return this at the end of the school day. Should this not be returned by the morning of the third day, your Arbor account will be automatically charged for this item.

There is also the option to purchase any equipment, as well as a fully equipped school pencil case and scientific calculator via the “School Shop” on Arbor. Your child will then be able to collect this from student services.

What happens if I do not wear the correct uniform?

If a student arrives to school with the incorrect uniform/shoes, they will be expected to accept the offer of a correct uniform item from Student Services.

Students may borrow these items without sanction, but parents will be informed to ensure this is rectified.

Should we run out of uniform, we will request parents attend school to bring in the correct uniform item/s for their child, and until such time the child will remain isolated.

Student Services is open from 8:15am - 8:50am, 10:55am -11:10am and 2:55pm - 3:15pm daily.
